WHERE: Camp Sweyolakan, Mica Bay, Lake Coeur d’Alene

Lunch will be provided!  Please bring a shovel or hand trowel and drinking water; dress for the weather; and wear work gloves and sturdy shoes.  We will be hiking up a hill to get to the tree planting site(s).

Please meet at the landing at 9:30.  Sweyolakan staff will shuttle volunteers to the camp, which is a 5-minute ride across the cove in a large pontoon boat.  We will be planting from approximately 10-12.  Lunch will be served immediately afterwards; the pontoon boat will begin shuttling volunteers back to the landing at 12:30.  

WHAT: Make recycled bookmarks for kids at Phoenix Children's Cancer Center

WHEN: Tuesday, April 30th from 9:30-11:30 a.m.

WHERE: Hemingway Pocket Park in Anthem, AZ

We will be making bookmarks out of recycled cereal boxes, magazines, yarn, and paper.  Feel free to bring any of these items you may have although we will also have a supply of them. The kids will also make and sign a card for the children staying at the center.
